New system navigation in Android P

Android P also brings a new system navigation to simplify the user interface and adapt to the full-screen design that the manufacturer’s strives for. The new navigation design uses just a single home button and hopes to make multi-tasking easier to understand combined with smart gestures.

Swiping up from the bottom you’ll find your recently opened apps together with five suggested apps that you might want to use. If you swipe up a second time you’ll find all your apps. You can also use the slider at the bottom to scroll through your recently opened apps.
